Types of Thrust self-aligning roller bearings:
Thrust self-aligning roller bearings are roughly the same as self-aligning roller bearings. The raceway surface of the housing ring is a spherical surface centered on a point consistent with the center shaft of the bearing. The rollers of this type of bearing are spherical, so it has an automatic self-aligning function and is not very sensitive to coaxiality and shaft deflection.
Thrust self-aligning roller bearings have a very large axial load capacity. While bearing axial loads, they can also withstand certain radial loads, but the radial load must not exceed 55% of the axial load. As long as the loads P and P0 do not exceed 0.05C0 and the shaft ring rotates, the bearing allows the self-aligning angles listed in the following table. The self-aligning Angle of the bearing diameter series is as follows: 200 series 1° to 1.5°, 300 series 1.5° to 2°, 400 series 2° to 3°. Smaller values are suitable for larger bearings, and the allowable self-aligning Angle will decrease when the load increases.
Cages are generally made of solid brass frames and stamped frames.
This type of bearing is mainly applied in oil drilling RIGS, iron and steel manufacturing machinery, hydroelectric generators, vertical electric motors, propeller shafts for ships, tower cranes, extruders, etc.
